"The Ice Storm" Starring Kevin Kline, Joan Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Tobey Maguire, Christina Ricci and Elijah Wood, this 1997 Ang Lee film depicts middle-class angst during 1973. The film focuses on two neighboring families: the Hoods and the Carvers. While the parents of each family deal with bad marriages and affairs, the kids begin exploring the world of sex, alcohol, drugs and violence.
